Bondage and s&m gear is normally made from heavy duty black leather hide, but a trend has now emerged where BDSM gear has been seen in various new colours and materials.

I noticed recently that a local super market was selling such hoists for as little as £45.00 in the tools section, ideal for use with your leather suspension bondage gear.
My advice is to be very careful if suspension is of interest to you. Choose a strong hanging location and use the correct bondage equipment made for suspension.
It is not wise to invert your sub and hang them by the ankles as accidents could cause damage to the neck or head, but no matter what, some people will experiment in this practise.
The care of your bondage gear is of up-most importance and regular checks must be made to your bondage gear.
Check the buckles on a regular basis and any rivets that secure the leather straps. Standard wrist and ankle cuffs are only intended for restraining purposes during your bondage sessions, Leather bondage gear cuffs are best used for long periods of restraint as I have found that steel manacles and cuffs can lead to serious damage to blood vessels and nerves in the wrists.
In some cases the fingers go numb and this could lead to permanent damage resulting in medical advice having to be sought.
The possibilities of what can be used as bondage gear is endless and it can be great fun just walking round your DIY hypermarket and spotting something useful for you next bondage session
